Brighton winter wedding

We had fake snow inside and and a real snow storm outside, for this beautiful silver and white themed wedding. It was touch and go getting all the hire companies to arrive with the roads being so bad, but we created a stunning day for the very grateful couple. The bride didn't want real flowers so I designed a scheme of christmas trees, sprayed twigs with hanging crystals for the centerpieces and bundles of lights.

winter wedding in north london

I had a lovely client for this wedding, we converted a huge greek orthodox church hall and all her family rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in. The theme was 'winter white', with white twigs and baubles on tables and guest names mounted into silver sprayed cones. We draped the ceiling, covered all the artworks on the walls and had a black star cloth on the stage.

John Lewis Home project

I was asked by the John Lewis Home team, to design room-sets with personality and style for their 'Home' stores. I felt each room had to attract a certain customer type looking to find furniture for their house, albeit a New York style apartment, a country cottage, or London flat. I had so many great options to choose from within the wallpaper, paint, rugs, lamps and accessories departments, it was a lot of fun to create some drama and elegance within the stores.

vintage tea party, east sussex

The lovely Naomi and Christian were a pleasure to work with for this fabulous themed wedding in Buxted Park in East Sussex. We spent months collecting tea sets, vases, pearls and lace to create a stunning vintage tea party, captured effortlessly by photographer Lisa Devlin devlinphotos.co.uk/ The reception was held in the hotels orangery, with strings of lights swaying off the ceiling which lit up as the sun went down .

humanist ceremony, bucks.

This was a lovely sunny day in the garden of a hotel in Buckinghamshire. The outdoor ceremony was all dressed in white with lanterns in the tree and petals on the ground. Once inside the marquee it all changed into wonderful bright colours to match in with the bridesmaids dresses. Thanks for the lovely photography from Jake at http://www.spikyjumper.com

Boat party for corporate function, Oxford.

We had a big challenge, to dress an empty old boat, with a very tight budget. The only furniture left on board was the wooden benches. We made seat pads in a lovely bright spot fabric and took these colours throughout the bright fun scheme using ribbons, fairy lights, flowers, vases and napkin ties. The 50 guests had a lovely time, sailing up and down the river with food, wine and a band to entertain them.

summer marquee wedding

It was a pleasure to be involved in this wedding, a lovely garden setting in Kent, where the gardener had been planting white flowers in the run up to the big day. The whole scheme and wedding decorations were white and silver and full of elegance. We used chiavari limewashed chairs, silver chargers with menu cards, silver pots for flowers and tea lights under a tall silver candelabra for a centrepiece. Each guest had a napkin rolled up with their name on and a flower tucked into it. The seating plan was printed onto a clear vinyl and stuck onto a white framed mirror. I made pom-pom’s to hang into the ceiling of the gazebo where the string quartet were playing. In the garden we had a wishing tree with ribbons and white luggage tags hanging from branches, the guests really enjoyed writing messages for the happy couple.

Fabulous day.

Aldo press day for Surgery PR, event styling.

We were asked by Surgery PR to set up a press show for Aldo shoes AW/10 in a suite at the Soho Hotel. We used different areas to display the shoes with relevant materials to suit. We loved the hanger installation in the shower and the dressed leopards !
