Monika & Jason’s bright fun wedding.

I loved styling this wedding, it was set in the grounds of a converted barn in Kent and photographed so stunningly by Annamarie Stepney www.annamariestepney.co.uk Monika wanted tons of colour and a lot of fun for her and Jason's big day, and caled on me to put it into action. I used all my small glass receptacles, lace and wooden crates to create a 'thrown together look' and made runners from bright floral fabrics. Everywhere you looked there was a mass of pattern and colour, even the ceremony was decorated with my homemade pom-poms. I was thrilled to show this wedding in Perfect Wedding Magazine and Rock my Wedding blog.

Vintage white’s in The Tithe Barn, Lenham, Kent.

I met this lovely couple at a wedding fair I was exhibiting at and Stef instantly wanted the style of the vintage white table I had displayed. We collected lace, pearls and glassware for the tables, hung tons of fairy lights and did all the flowers ourselves. Outside we filled an old horse cart with crates and plants.

ALDO ‘get lucky’ press event

Surgery PR called me in to style this press event alongside Shining Wit Events. The fabulous backdrop of One Marylebone was the perfect setting for this 'celebrity party of the month'. Propping for this job was very exciting, giving each collection a theme and drama.

Kentish marquee wedding

The lovely Dan & Polly married at The Blazing Donkey, Kent, in an outside ceremony in glorious sunshine. Polly had asked for creams, silver and dark grey to go with her bridesmaids dresses with an elegant feel. I used chiavari chairs, tons of fairy lights and candelabra's overflowing with flowers. Polly's Mum made the stunning cake and her Dad made the photo booth, talented family. Thanks to S P I K Y J U M P E R © for the use of some of these images.

‘The Good Ship Band’ video shoot

I spent a day styling the video for The Good Ship Band's forthcoming single 'Jesus I Need Some Peace'. We really went for a Dickensian feel, using all manner of vintage books, candles and other brick-a-brack to create a grainy atmospheric setting. I worked alongside the in-demand Blindeye Films to capture the eccentric pop rock vibe. There was no shortage of costume changes and dramatic performances from the band.

Brighton winter wedding

We had fake snow inside and and a real snow storm outside, for this beautiful silver and white themed wedding. It was touch and go getting all the hire companies to arrive with the roads being so bad, but we created a stunning day for the very grateful couple. The bride didn't want real flowers so I designed a scheme of christmas trees, sprayed twigs with hanging crystals for the centerpieces and bundles of lights.

winter wedding in north london

I had a lovely client for this wedding, we converted a huge greek orthodox church hall and all her family rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in. The theme was 'winter white', with white twigs and baubles on tables and guest names mounted into silver sprayed cones. We draped the ceiling, covered all the artworks on the walls and had a black star cloth on the stage.

John Lewis Home project

I was asked by the John Lewis Home team, to design room-sets with personality and style for their 'Home' stores. I felt each room had to attract a certain customer type looking to find furniture for their house, albeit a New York style apartment, a country cottage, or London flat. I had so many great options to choose from within the wallpaper, paint, rugs, lamps and accessories departments, it was a lot of fun to create some drama and elegance within the stores.

Boat party for corporate function, Oxford.

We had a big challenge, to dress an empty old boat, with a very tight budget. The only furniture left on board was the wooden benches. We made seat pads in a lovely bright spot fabric and took these colours throughout the bright fun scheme using ribbons, fairy lights, flowers, vases and napkin ties. The 50 guests had a lovely time, sailing up and down the river with food, wine and a band to entertain them.
